A sturdy tool, works on earless-type clamps including those found on GM inboard CV joint.

For attaching steel band clamps to axle boots, with tensioning and cutting mechanism. Pull the clamp through the guide slot at the front and slide it through the slot in the middle turning handle. With the middle turning handle you clamp the tensioning strap over the drive boot. Then you cut it off with the rotating blade at the front.

Use to install and tighten the "band-it" or strap style clamps on CV joint boots or on power steering rack and pinion steering gear boots. Once installed into the tool tighten the band by turning the handle on the tool; use a socket or wrench on the handle to torque the band.

Suitable for supporting shock absorbers, exhausts or other parts when working under the vehicle. Maximum height of 189.5cm and minimum height of 129.5cm. Thanks to its light weight (14KG) this vehicle support is easy to move. Capacity up to 750KG.
