16-piece set for removing damaged or difficult-to-dismantle glow plugs from the cylinder head and also professional repair of damaged threads.

Suitable for glow plugs with either an M8 x 1.0 thread or M10 x 1.0 thread. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary adapters, centering and thread cleaning tools to remove the damaged glow plug without damaging the cylinder head.

This special tool is designed for reaming out and cleaning the glow plug port hole and seal seat, after removing an old/damaged glow plug and before installing the new replacement. One of the main reasons why glow plugs get stuck in the hole is because carbon gets into the glow plug bore. The tool screws into the threads of the glow plug and clears any unwanted carbon from the bore. It simultaneously cleans the seal seat, ready for the new glow plug.
