Ratyl liquid gasket red is a high-quality 1-component sealant that fully cures into a silicone rubber.
This product remains flexible, has high adhesion, and is resistant to dynamic stresses such as shocks and vibrations. The liquid gasket replaces conventional gaskets and can be used universally.
The product is suitable for extremely high and low temperatures ranging from -50°C to 300°C.

Applications:
Ratyl liquid gasket is designed for use as a liquid gasket and is suitable, for example, for sealing engine components, valve covers, transmissions and oil pans, water pumps, and thermostat housings. For sealing installations where extremely high temperature resistance is required, up to a maximum of 260°C.

Fields of application:
Automotive sector, caravan construction, engine and electrical engineering industries, mechanical engineering, shipping, agricultural mechanization, chemical and petrochemical industries, gas and water engineering, food industry, etc.

Limitations:
Among others, not suitable for PE, PP, Teflon, and bituminous substrates. This product is not paintable.

Surface preparation / finishing:
Substrates must be clean, dry, and load-bearing. If necessary, apply a primer. The use of a caulking gun is recommended.

Hazard:
Pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep away from ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray towards a flame or glowing object. Keep out of reach of children.
