The brake fluid tester ( EBT 01 ) from Leitenberger is a professional brake fluid testing device.
The tester measures the electrical conductivity of the brake fluid. The electronic test device with membrane keypad is suitable for brake fluid dot 4. The device shows the percentage water content of the brake fluid by means of three light-emitting diodes. Green light means 0-1% = good. Green/yellow light means 2% = brake fluid should be replaced soon. Green/yellow/red light means a water content above 3% = brake fluid should be replaced immediately. The tester is supplied in a sturdy plastic case.
